So if you “feel” the presence of a loved one or smell their essence it is because they want to enjoy and celebrate with you as well. Dinner celebration is always with the extra plate/s for those no longer here with us, we have a moment of silence in remembrance of those gone, we feast, laugh, cry etc….then we take the extra plate/s and place them outside for others that may have lost their way and also for the wildlife.
